How much does a web site cost?: It all depends on your specific needs and goals. Give me a call and we can discuss your project.
How long does it take to create a web site: Each project is different, but a typical site might take anywhere 4 – 8 weeks to go through the information gathering, design, construction and testing stages of project.
I’m in hurry. Can you do it in 1 week?: Probably not. I’ll make every reasonable effort to accommodate a client’s timeline. I’ll also let you know if I do not believe there will be sufficient time to deliver a high quality product.
Will I be able to update my web site myself?: If you would like the ability to update your site without having technical skills, you will want a site that includes a content management system. There are several options available for content management that I can discuss with you.
A company in a distant land says they can build my site for $100. Will you match that?: These services may be good for people on an extremely tight budget, but you usually get what you pay for. I specialize in high quality, custom solutions and offer face to face interaction and accessibility. I treat each project as part of an ongoing relationship.
My nephew says he can build a web site for free. Why should I pay you?: In this common scenario, you usually get what you pay for.
What if I want to make changes after the site is done and live?: Enhancements and maintenance is charged at my hourly rate.
Do you do the work or do you use subcontractors?: In most cases, I do 100% of the work myself. If the project requires a specialist in a certain area, I can call on someone in my network to fulfill that need.
Are you moonlighting or are you accessible during the day?: This is what I do full time. I'm reachable during normal business hours.
Will you write my content for me?: I can refer you to professional writers who specialize in writing web site content.
I already have a web site but would like to make significant changes. Can you help me?: I’ll be glad to take a look at your site and recommend some options.
